Billow & Breeze Spring Beanie Pattern

Billow & Breeze hat pattern

Billow & Breeze hat pattern

Although I am probably one of the few who is not yet ready for Spring to be here, I will join in by making some new designs. Here is a great “airy” hat for warm, spring days. It looks great as a solid color hat, or mix it up with fun combinations!

The clusters of rounded stitches reminded me of clouds, and the holes allow for a breeze – that’s where I got the name this time :)

Bibbidi Bobbidi Bunny! An Easter Slouch Hat Pattern

What has happened to bunny? It looks as though he’s been zapped by the Fairy Godmother’s wand! He is painted like an Easter egg! Or – wait! Maybe the Egg has been turned into a bunny! Either way, you will love this new magical pattern with the magical name (Cinderella is coming out tomorrow, and it is just fit perfectly).

I am very happy to tell you that I have also included a child’s size in this pattern – a first for me!

Hoist the Colors Beanie Pattern

Yo Ho, haul together, hoist the colors high!
No, this isn’t a pirate-y beanie, but it does have a pirate-y name!

Stylish AND Savvy – The colorwork in this design called for a unique name. The way the spike stitches seem to be pulling from below, along with the many options in striping – made Hoist the Colors a perfect name. And I have to give credit to my daughter for suggesting it!

The Darcy Slouch – a FREE Pattern!

Darcy Slouch Hat

Darcy Slouch Hat by Harvester Products

I designed this hat over a year ago, maybe even 2 years. I decided to revamp the design and offer it as a free pattern on my blog. I turned it into a slouch, changed the way the stitches line up, and added a sparkle band! Hope you enjoy!

It’s named after two characters that I love – Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice (I am partial to the Mr. Darcy in the BBC series) and Darcy in Thor (she is hilarious) :)

Mirkwood Glen Slouch Hat Pattern Release

“And where does THAT name come from?”, you wonder. Here we have yet another hat named after a movie I love. Mirkwood is a place in the Hobbit movies that is full of twisty branches (and evil spiders – but we don’t care about them) and is quite beautiful. When I was designing this, the long stitches reminded me of twisty branches.

Mirkwood Glen Slouch Hat

This hat is a very long and full slouch, and the way the twisty stitches lay over the contrasting color gives it such a unique look. It looks great either with light over dark, or vice-versa.
